To mark the beginning of its new era, the new team of the URJC Vice-Rector for International Relations will hold an academic meeting on October 24th at the Alcorcón Campus, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The event brings together renowned experts from five continents, symbolizing the initiative's global focus.
Structured in panel discussions, the Congress will serve as a platform for reflection on topics such as the regulation and ethics that should govern the current technological era and the latest insights into the relationship between neuroscience, technological innovation, and mental well-being. It will also cover issues such as digital innovations and new mental technologies, as well as business strategies related to neuroscience.
"This initiative by the vice-rector's office, channeled through the university's various deanships, aims to unite academic efforts within the URJC and project them toward a broader institutional and social dimension," explains the Department of International Relations.
The congress will be closed by the rector, Abraham Duarte, and the opening ceremony will be presided over by the secretary general, Marta Albert, who will be accompanied by the vice-rector for International Relations, Ana Felicitas Muñoz Pérez, and the dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Carlos Goicoechea.
