The URJC participates in the 'Activa Móstoles' Job Fair

This fair is aimed at the entire population seeking or improving employment, and aims to publicize free public services, promote job opportunities, and generate synergies between entities that share the commitment to improving employability in the region.

The URJC, as an institution committed to the professional development of its students and the socioeconomic fabric of southern Madrid, will have its own space. Francisco Blanco, Academic Director of Employability and Entrepreneurship, notes that "The university is constantly evolving. Our bachelor's degrees, master's degrees, and continuing education programs adapt to the labor market, as evidenced by the fact that the Rey Juan Carlos University leads the ranking for job placement in the Community of Madrid."

Participating companies include Carrefour, El Corte Inglés, Bauhaus, Master Battery, Grupo Día, Grupo Rojas, Grupo Foodbox, Grupo Amás, Fundación Santa María La Real, Your Employment Office of the Community of Madrid, and the Red Cross, among others.

During these sessions, the Student Access, Orientation, and Support service will offer personalized advice to attendees who wish to improve their professional profile and find new training opportunities. As Blanco emphasizes, the URJC, through its services such as "the External Internship Unit and Job Bank, allows local companies to access university-trained talent."

The academic director highlights the university's connection with the municipality through the Móstoles Business Incubator. This initiative "is an essential lever for knowledge transfer, establishing important relationships of open innovation and knowledge transfer between university researchers and local entrepreneurs, all with the direct support of the city council."

These actions highlight the role of the university as a key training institution in preparing the professionals of the future.

The "Activa Móstoles 2025" Job Fair will be held on October 28 and 29 and is presented as a key meeting point for citizens, educational institutions, and the business world, at a time when inter-institutional collaboration is essential to addressing the challenges of the labor market.
