During the Conference, coordinated by professors Raquel Sardá Sánchez and Susana Gámez González, the delegations visited the Fine Arts, Fashion and Design workshops of the Old Pavia Barracks, as well as other university and emblematic spaces of the town of Aranjuez, where they learned about the infrastructure and creative potential that characterize artistic training in the area.

The sessions, held in the San Carlos Hospital building, addressed strategic issues related to teaching, research, and academic quality. The Conference works to strengthen collaboration among faculties, increase the visibility of art within the academic and cultural context, and promote joint initiatives that contribute to the recognition of artistic education.

On November 14, the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Araceli Rodríguez Mateos, conveyed on behalf of the Rector the importance of this forum for the development and strengthening of university arts education. Likewise, the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Miguel Ángel Esparza Torres, highlighted the significance of these studies and the role of the Faculty, established three years ago, which offers degrees at the Fuenlabrada, Aranjuez, and Quintana campuses.

The meeting concluded with a commitment to continue developing strategic lines that will allow the sector to face its challenges and consolidate excellence in the Arts in university education.
