A total of 60 representatives of the Psychology degree from Spanish universities, both public and private, met at the Rey Juan Carlos University this Thursday.
During the meeting, the General Council of Psychology's report was presented, through which "we have been informed of the issues and decisions currently being made in professional associations. It helps us to work hand in hand between academia and the profession," says Miriam Alonso Fernández, coordinator of the Psychology degree at URJC and organizer of the meeting.
Furthermore, the challenges facing the degree at the national level in becoming a qualifying qualification were discussed during the session. “Right now, we are in a time for debate and reaching agreements,” Miriam Alonso pointed out.
Meetings were also held that deal with the organic functioning of the association.
The event was opened by Carlos Goicoechea, dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences; Miguel Herrero Gómez Herrero, mayor-president of Aranjuez; María del Pilar Dávila López, councilor delegate of Education, Culture, University and Citizen Participation and Antonio M.
