Thanks to this event, the students had the opportunity to learn firsthand about the latest trends in hotel innovation and collaborate with professionals in the sector, reinforcing their practical experience and contact with the professional environment.
Titled “From Robot to Ally”, the edition ofFITUR 2026 has served as a space dedicated to innovation and technology applied to the tourism sector. Tourism students have collaborated with the stand of Hotel Technological Institute (ITH) and theSpanish Confederation of Hotels and Tourist Accommodation (CEHAT).
'FITURTECHY' is the ITH's space that aims to move from a model focused on efficiency and robotization to one in which technology becomes an ally at the service of people and the planet. It's not about choosing between humans or machines, but about consciously expressing the usefulness and the way in which we use intelligence.
In a country like Spain, where tourism is of paramount importance, functioning as an economic, social and environmental engine, this reflection is essential for the proper development of the sector.
