La Higher Technical School of Computer Engineering URJC presents employment and internship opportunities to computer science students at these events

The event opened today in the lobby of Building I at the Móstoles Campus and will conclude tomorrow, February 12th. Thanks to this event, students can learn about and interact with various companies in the IT sector that attended the 'JobDays' and discover the postgraduate programs offered by the ETSII (School of Industrial Engineering).

According to Jorge López, Academic Coordinator of Relations with Companies and Promotion at ETSII, the purpose of this event is "to provide a forum for the companies with which we collaborate, receiving graduates or students in internships, to contact them directly through the stands and facilitate employability and the completion of external internships."

The head of URJC also explains that the conference serves to "promote direct communication, thanks to the interactive roundtable format." It is an event that offers "a wide range of professionals from the sectors in which our future graduates can work, so they can get a feel for professional practice, guided by experts from multiple companies and institutions."

The first day of this year's edition featured the presence of Ana Romero, cybersecurity manager of GMV; Micka Villain, technical director of Skydance Animation; and Francisco Díaz, manager of Inecowho have addressed the topic of the computer engineering profession, its specialization, and its prospects in the job market.

The speakers on the second day, who focus on AI and Data Science, are Marcos Baptista, senior data analyst at Free marketElena Garcés, research scientist in artificial intelligence and computer graphics at Adobe ResearchJuan M. Serrano, founder of Habla Computing; and Víctor Domínguez, telecommunications engineer in Indra.
