Water and Artificial Intelligence are deeply related in different aspects.
To analyze the pros and cons of this relationship, the Green Office and the degree in Water Science and Technology (a pioneer in Spain) have brought together a panel of experts from the public and private sectors at the 'IV Water Conference'. AI for water or water for AI? (April 7th. 9 a.m. Móstoles Campus).
The goal, explains the degree coordinator, María Najarro, is "to raise awareness among the university community and society in general about water resources."
That is why the event is designed to be informative and accessible to all types of audiences, "you don't need to be an expert in AI or water," says María Najarro.
Topics to be addressed include the use of AI for hydrological planning and management, and the impact of this technology on the use of water resources, among others.
The opening of the day will be led by Jesús María Arsuaga, Vice-Rector for Social Responsibility, Culture and Sport.
student participation
The organization has fostered significant student participation, involving students in the event through an innovative teaching project. Several students will present posters based on various scientific articles related to the symposium's theme.
