The Ecotopia association together with the Master of Biodiversity Conservation Techniques, Conservation and Environment is organizing an event from April 13th to 17th.

The first edition of 'BioConme', an event driven by the Ecotopia Association In conjunction with the URJC's Master's Degree in Biodiversity Conservation Techniques and Ecology, the thematic week will open its doors on April 13th and run until April 17th at the Móstoles Campus. Participants will discover initiatives and knowledge related to biodiversity, ecology, conservation, and the environment.

The event will feature expert speakers such as Arantzazu L. Luzuriaga, director of the Master's Program in Biodiversity Conservation Techniques and Ecology at URJC; along with Ernesto Álvarez Xusto, president of the Group for the Rehabilitation of Native Fauna and its Habitat (GREFAStarting at 9:00 AM, speakers will present a daily program of specialized topics on both terrestrial and marine biodiversity, and on how climate change impacts the lives of fauna and flora. The event will take place in the main lecture hall of buildings I and III on the Móstoles Campus, and will be streamed live via this link for those unable to attend in person.

The workshops focus on the behavior and interaction of ecosystems, highlighting the role of humans and their dynamics within them. The event aims to expand knowledge on these topics, promote their dissemination across different sectors, and foster interdisciplinary relationships.

During the week of the meeting, various scientists and professionals in the field will present challenges and opportunities to help learn firsthand about initiatives and knowledge on biodiversity, ecology, the impact of global change, conservation and the environment.
