A team from URJC wins the 'Capture The Flag' cybersecurity competition

A team from URJC has won first place in the 'Capture The Flag' event after successfully overcoming the various challenges presented during the competition. The activity, organized by the Viewnext-UEX Chair, took place online through the portal ofJNICIt had the simultaneous attendance of 200 participants from 100 educational centers and 13 countries, and allowed both students and graduates to participate.

'Capture The Flag' is a challenge where teams must solve a series of challenges across different categories, covering various areas of cybersecurity, as quickly as possible. The final ranking is determined by the sum of points earned on each challenge and the time it takes the team to complete them.

The URJC team, made up of Doctors in Communication Technologies Isaac Lozano Osorio and Raúl Martín Santamaría, along with graduate Sicilia García Clemente, solved all the challenges in 2 hours and 45 minutes, thus achieving first place in the competition.

Oriol Vilaplana and David Rodríguez, members of the meeting's organizing committee, presented the awards to the winners in a ceremony that served as the closing event.
