The event, organized entirely by second-year Protocol students, raised funds for the Fundación Menudos Corazones, which provides, through its programs, support to children and young people with congenital heart disease, and their families.

The Plaza Cervantes on the Vicálvaro campus once again hosted the solidarity gala 'URJC Fashion Night', which this time had the Menudos Corazones Foundation as its beneficiary, aimed at supporting girls, boys and young people with congenital heart disease throughout Spain, as well as their families, in hospitals, in their daily lives and in the entity's Support Centers.

For the fourth consecutive year, the second-year students of the Degree in Protocol, Organization of Events and Corporate Communication, directed by the coordinators Andrea Reynoso and Delia Roldán, and hand in hand with the teacher María Luisa Medrano, were in charge of showing the most friendly from the world of fashion. Through the crowded courtyard of the campus, converted into a catwalk for the occasion, paraded amateur models dressed in the creations of various new designers to the rhythm of the music of DJ Dani Álvarez. The young tailors presented a wide variety of designs over eight screenings, among which there was also time to witness the performances of Protocol student Aarón Rodríguez and to visualize the work of the Menudos Corazones Foundation through a short video.

Finally, the raffle of trips and gifts facilitated by the sponsors with whom the Protocol students had contacted took place. According to Sara García, one of the students of the degree, the event has turned out to be a success both in terms of collection, 3117,50 euros between the raffle and donations, as well as attendance. Not surprisingly, the gala was attended by Dean María Luisa Delgado and Vice Dean Rogelio Fernández. And it is that, in addition to having found new collaborators, this year the students have carried out a wide deployment in social networks that includes more than 14000 impressions on Instagram and the creation of a personalized filter to commemorate the experience. The exemplary performance of the students has once again shown that fashion can also be supportive.
