The Master in Auditing and Superior Accounting trains the financiers that companies demand

Adapted to the online and face-to-face modality, the students of the Master develop necessary skills as analysts, supervisors, specialists in Advanced Accounting or auditors.

The Master's Degree in Auditing and Higher Accounting of the URJC has the collaboration of the General Council of Economists, one of the most prestigious institutions in Spain linked to this sector. In addition, it has the support of recognized firms dedicated to auditing and accounting and is approved by the Accounting and Auditing Institute (ICAC). 

A complete training itinerary 

The profile of its students is broad, encompassing all areas related to Economics, the commercial and business sectors, and those linked to legal degrees. It is even open to other specialties such as engineering. 

The training itinerary is divided into three basic and compulsory learning modules: Audit, Regulatory Frameworks for Financial Information Applicable in Spain and a third related to other Accounting Matters. To all this is added a complementary training on International Auditing Standards, Law, Information Technology and general principles of the Economy. 

During the two semesters that the Master is taught, students will learn to develop managerial technical skills and corporate work, mainly leadership, conflict resolution and team management. In this way, the contents that are taught train the students to know in detail the operation of an audit company, develop the diagnostic methods that are required in any company and write financial reports based on national and international standards, among others. other functions and skills necessary for the exercise of the profession. 

With this training, graduates acquire the necessary skills and abilities for their future profession as analysts, supervisors, Advanced Accounting specialists or auditors. They will also be able to learn in depth the theoretical training that is required for access to the Official Register of Auditors of Accounts (ROAC), dependent on the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transparency of the Government of Spain. 

ACCA Global Accreditation 

In turn, the degree allows the student to obtain the legally required training to consider having passed the theoretical test of the professional attitude exam that is periodically organized by the Institute of Higher Auditing and Accounting (ICAC), and will be prepared to obtain the ACCA Global accreditation (the international organization for professional accountants) since the completion of the Master exempts the applicant from taking 8 of the 9 professional courses taught by this Institution.
