Basic Information


The new environment in which companies and individuals operate presses towards an agility that until now has not been introduced in university teaching programs. We refer to the in-depth study of agile methodologies and management tools, both individual and team, as well as organizational transformation, which are the foundation of this master's degree and enable its implementation within organizations.

The Master's degree has been designed with the aim of training professionals in the new and most innovative fundamentals, methodologies and tools of personal and professional development, training students in professional performance as agents of change, or agile coach, for innovation. and transformation in current organizations.

This master trains students not only to practice professionally as agile coach in other organizations, but also trains participants to apply for internal coach jobs in organizations, according to the most current job offers and that are located in the areas of team management and human resource management, innovation; development of products and services, fundamentally.


The general objective of the master is to train highly qualified professionals to direct and lead organizational change processes as a result of the introduction, development and implementation of new ways of working based on agile methodologies for the development of products, services or business models. innovation oriented.

Specifically, students will be trained for specialized coaching in executives, teams and organizations focused on the areas of project management, the development of new products and new services, in which change and uncertainty are constant.

Specifically, the master's objectives are for participants to achieve:

  • Integrate and learn the theoretical and methodological bases of coaching, emotional intelligence and neurolinguistic programming
  • Improve the ability to communicate and act towards student results as a fundamental process.
  • Acquisition of coach skills to facilitate change processes within organizations.
  • Integrate and confidently apply the different neurolinguistic programming tools applied to Coaching, to carry out a more complete and effective praxis in accompanying change and achieving goals.
  • Know, apply and develop the skills and competencies necessary to be an efficient manager and a strategic leader in the company.
  • Train in the most innovative theoretical and practical foundations to develop professionally as an agile coach to help executives, leaders, teams and organizations with agile transformation.
  • Disseminate the fundamentals of the transformation of organizations for adaptation to change.
  • Perform in any field of innovation since knowledge and practice of agile methodologies and their scaling frameworks are provided.
  • Prepare students to manage organizations in an agile and fast way according to the continuum and the new business reality due to, and after, COVID 19.
  • That students learn, know and train as experts in agile methodologies for project management, product and service development, being able to design appropriate metrics.

In short, the master enables participants to join the labor market not only with the most innovative knowledge in the field of innovation and agile management of organizations, but also provides them with the skills and abilities most demanded by companies today.


The master is developed in 5 modules. In the first of them, the exercise of coaching as a profession is addressed, focusing fundamentally on the fundamentals and principles. With the foundations laid for the exercise of coaching in the agile field, the second of the modules focused on agile methodologies for innovation and agile transformation of organizations is developed. In the third module, management skills are worked on to lead the transformation in organizations. The fourth module focuses on internships in companies if the pandemic situation allows it or on the development of face-to-face weeks as dual remote training with leading companies in the implementation of agile methodologies. Finally, the final master's project module is contemplated in which students will reflect their agile skills and abilities by applying them to real challenges or research work in this area. Regarding internships applied to companies, students may carry them out in the organizations in which they are presenting their professional services or in other organizations of the student's free choice. In addition, a pool of companies interested in incorporating internship students for this master's degree will be set up. To pass this module, students will submit logs, activity records and a report from the awarded business tutor.

In company internships, incorporation into the organizations' own innovation teams is contemplated, or even the formation of teams of master's students together with staff from the organization to address the challenges of innovation or transformation proposed by the organizations.

Given the current pandemic situation and the uncertainty about the possibility of implementing this internship module, the possibility of offering a face-to-face week as an international experience for students is contemplated. This face-to-face week will be developed through the development of visits to virtual companies, and face-to-face if possible with on-site conferences for managers, with attendance at innovation work sessions and visits to business innovation centers. Said week will be an in-depth immersion in which students will work in person for 8 hours a day in conferences, workshops, visits to companies or product development. At the end of the face-to-face week, the students will present a report on the challenge or topic addressed in the week as a learning log.

This week will take place within the university for students who wish to attend in person and remotely (for international students who cannot attend in person as it will take place in 360º digitized facilities) and not in companies as a result of the rejection of the incorporation of outsiders in business facilities. Said week will consist, among others, of virtual visits, conferences, workshops, and a bootcamp for the development of products, services, and business models; concluding with the presentation of a report on the company that wishes to adhere to this format. Therefore, the adaptation to change and the incorporation of measures that guarantee the academic and practical quality of the degree.

Possess an official university degree, bachelor's degree or diploma or equivalent

Selection criteria

In the event that the number of applications exceeds the number of places offered, a selection will be made based on the following criteria:

  • Degree in Business Sciences or similar within Business Economics (50%) or failing that, university degree in engineering (50%)
  • Professional performance as Scrum Master or Agile Coach certified by the company with a minimum seniority of 1 year (20%)
  • Professional performance in the field of innovation, development or design of new products or services. (twenty%)
