This morning, the rector, Javier Ramos, presented the diploma accrediting Eva Martín Charro, a 25th year architecture student at the URJC, as the winner of the logo design contest for the XNUMXth Anniversary Celebration of the Creation of King Juan Carlos University.

For Eva Martín, having been chosen, "is an honor, since she is going to represent the university for an entire course and also serves for an important celebration, the 25th anniversary." As the winner points out, “when designing the logo I had previously taken several items into account: it had to have the corporate colors, to which I added a gray that falls within the range. I wanted a logo that had more possibilities to play with it, to create posters and merchandising. I wanted a more fluid dynamic logo, representing an innovative university that adapts to changes, hence the use of curved shapes. Furthermore, she adds, “I have used the elements of the official logo itself, deconstructing the crown to build the 'XNUMX'”.

This URJC student was already chosen to design the logo for the XNUMXth Anniversary, although now the competition was tougher since it involved not only designing the logo, but also preparing the entire XNUMXth Anniversary corporate identity manual.

Eva Martín Charro is currently completing her TFM for the Master's Degree in Architecture, after graduating with the Double Degree in Architecture and Integral Design and Image Management. In addition, she is doing an 'Arquea' Scholarship, which allows her to do internships in the most prestigious architecture studios in Europe. “I am at Fundación Metrópoli, in Alcobendas (Madrid) working on issues related to urban planning and city projects”.

Eva Martín's design has prevailed over 22 other proposals. During the decision process by the jury, the technical evaluation of, among other professionals, the director of Communication of the university, Josep Roure Oriol, has been counted on. The award has a prize of 1.000 euros.
