One of the most common experiences among university students during their academic training is completing their studies abroad thanks to international mobility programs such as Erasmus+ and Munde. The URJC launches this Wednesday, November 3, the call for stays abroad during the 2022/2023 academic year and the International Relations service has prepared an information session through Microsoft Teams to offer all the details of these experiences.

In the retransmission that will take place on Wednesday, November 3 starting at 16:30 p.m., the vice-rector for International Relations of the URJC, María Luisa Humanes; the director of the Projects area, Pablo T. Salvadores; the head of the International Relations Service, Constanza Barrios and the head of the Outgoing Student Mobility Section, Elisa Gómez.

The conference will explain how it works, the types of agreements with universities, the deadlines and other relevant information about the mobility programs currently offered by the Rey Juan Carlos University and which it calls for the 2022/2023 academic year. Listeners will be able to ask their questions via Twitter with the 'hashtag' #MovilidadURJC and these will be answered at the end of the talk. The conference, which will be broadcast by Microsoft Teams, can be followed through the following link.

Mobility programs begin their 100% recovery

Without a doubt, the context of the pandemic considerably reduced the international mobility of students during the 2020/2021 academic year. "Last year there was a significant decrease in mobility, but not because of a lack of desire on the part of the students, but because many universities canceled the trips or replaced them with online courses," says Elisa Gómez, from the International Relations Service.

However, up to 600 URJC students completed their studies outside of Spain last year. “For this 2021/2022 academic year we are acting practically completely normally. We are going to have about 1.300 students outside”, says Gómez. The International Relations Service expects that the number of students enrolled in mobility programs will continue to increase for the 2022/2023 academic year.
