The International Doctoral School of the Rey Juan Carlos University celebrates this Wednesday a meeting with the new researchers in training enrolled as doctoral students for the 2021/2022 academic year. The appointment takes place between 16:00 and 18:00 in the Aula Magna of Lecture Hall III on the Móstoles campus, where all the processes of monitoring, preparation and evaluation of a doctoral thesis will be explained.

The main objective of the Introduction to the Doctoral Programs of the Rey Juan Carlos University is to "give a warm welcome to new students and help them take the first steps so that they can understand the entire process of monitoring, preparing and evaluating a thesis”, explains Pilar Abad, director of the URJC International Doctoral School.

The director of the EID, Pilar Abad, will participate in the conference; the academic secretary, Inmaculada Mora; Professor Isabel Jiménez, coordinator of training activities; and Marcos Méndez, coordinator of Internationalization. The International Doctoral School of the Rey Juan Carlos University receives this year a total of 230 new students in the doctoral programs, both from the same university and from external institutions.

The International Doctoral School was created with an interdisciplinary character for the organization and management of doctoral studies at the University, of the activities inherent to the training and development of doctoral students and other activities consistent with the research and innovation strategy of the University. .
