A new edition of the URJCx MOOCs

Starting next November 9, URJC students will be able to enjoy this open training aimed at any type of profile.

MOOCs (Massive Online Open Courses) are not a new concept, but they continue to advance and gain more and more followers today. The open education philosophy of these courses, the possibility of learning when and where you want, always being up-to-date, connecting and sharing experience are some of the aspects that make it stand out from other types of training.

Therefore, starting next week, URJCx will offer an important variety of MOOC courses in this new edition. These represent an opportunity to improve training, and whose quality is backed by a long history and prestigious awards that have recognized its value.

The content of the MOOCs is interactive and during its completion, the person who takes it receives the support of the teaching team, also having the possibility of interacting with the user community of which they are a part.

With an average duration of about 5 weeks and an estimated average effort of 5 hours per week, the URJCx offer covers a variety of areas such as health prevention, for professionals and patients, and the area of ​​cultural and artistic heritage management, the management of personal brand, sustainability, big data, or entrepreneurship in the business field.

Finally, the URJCx MOOCs allow undergraduate students at the Rey Juan Carlos University to receive RAC credits. To do this, those enrolled must have passed the course and have registered with the university mail.
