ApS arrives with its first day at the URJC

On November 15, the Service Learning Office will present all the projects carried out in the 2020/2021 academic year.

Service Learning (ApS) is considered a key tool for the complete development of any person belonging to the university community. The purpose of this methodology is armed in a sustainable way, focusing on teaching to understand the reality and needs of the environment in which we live. In addition, it provides certain social, civic and ethical values. 

The ApS service of the Rey Juan Carlos University will present on its first day how they carried out this educational innovation methodology during the 2020/2021 academic year. Through projects, those present will learn how Service Learning provided experiential knowledge to students and teachers, while helping to improve the situation of vulnerable groups. 

The conference will take place in the Hall of Departmental Degrees I of the Móstoles Campus, and will take place from 10 am to 14 pm. Not only students, PDI and PAS of the Rey Juan Carlos University will be able to attend, people from other universities interested in this methodology are also invited. 

Registration is free until full capacity is reached, so it is recommended to sign up as soon as possible through  this link. In addition, attendance will be recognized with a certificate and RAC credits for the students of the Rey Juan Carlos University present at this event.
