After an event held on November 19 in the Madrid town of Pozuelo de Alarcon, the Rey Juan Carlos University and the Community of Madrid have reached an agreement to sign a new General Collaboration Protocol in the field of security and emergencies.

The Rector of the Rey Juan Carlos University, Javier Ramos López, and Enrique López López, Minister of the Presidency, Justice and the Interior, have agreed to carry out actions and activities. Matter of cooperation in projects in the field of Security and Emergency, support in training programs, and that URJC students can collaborate with ASEM112 through internships.

Javier Ramos, after thanking "the teams that have brought this agreement to fruition", recalled the great work carried out by the 112 emergency service. For the Rector of the URJC, "bringing students and researchers closer to everyday reality through the one faced by 112, is a mutual benefit”, since “without investigation, there is no progress, without specialized generational change, either”.

On the other hand, Enrique López stressed that "with this initiative collaboration between the academic and professional worlds is promoted and the use of the facilities and equipment of both institutions is made available to university students".
