Today, responding to the new challenges that have arisen in the field of education is key. Educational institutions have to adapt to achieve their ultimate goal: to educate students. And it is that these, face a complex and interconnected world that changes suddenly in fields such as technology, culture, economy or demographics.

To this end, the Master's Degree in Teacher Training for Secondary Education, Baccalaureate, Vocational Training and Languages at the Rey Juan Carlos University has organized a new event focused on innovation and educational research. The first edition held on November 18 and 19 at the Fuenlabrada Campus has been a complete success, and the organization assures that "it has a clear evolution of continuity for the next courses".

The program of the "Educare+Educere Congress" was inaugurated by Juan Luis Arsuaga Ferreras, Prince of Asturias Award for Scientific and Technical Research in 1997, to later address during the day four very clear and fundamental issues in the present and future of education: active teaching methods, STEM/STEAM education, education and health, and education and equality.

As they tell us from the organization, "the development of these sessions invited us to reflect on the moral and professional imperative of acting as brave, honest and trained teachers." In addition, teachers were encouraged to "take risks and get out of our comfort zones to turn the classroom into an experiential environment."
