On the occasion of the commemorative events of the 25th anniversary of the Rey Juan Carlos University, the IV Charity Padel Tournament was held at the university. More than a hundred couples signed up for this championship by contributing a toy whose destination was the Rey Juan Carlos Hospital in Móstoles.

The final was played by the brothers Daniel and Alejandro Pérez, who finally defeated (4-6 / 6-1 / 7-6), in a tight tie-break in the 3rd set, the couple formed by Ángel and Jorge Resino. The final matched the rest of the tournament, as the finalists gave everything they had at the Alcorcón Campus sports facilities.

As Pedro Ramos Alonso, Head of the URJC Sports Service, tells us, “after the match, the finalist couples were presented with trophies in the new room of the Alcorcón Campus Management Building. The toys received as a registration fee for the tournament were also provided, and they were delivered to the representative of the Hospital Rey Juan Carlos de Móstoles, Ms. Elena Olivares, who thanked the hospital for the solidarity initiative and promised to distribute equitably and precisely the toys among the children admitted to said hospital”.

There, the Councilor for Sports of the Alcorcón City Council, Miguel Ángel Palacios Retamosa, and the Director of the University Clinic, Diego Gómez-Costa, met. On behalf of the Rey Juan Carlos University, Alexander Gil, Deputy Vice-Rector for Sports; Darío Sánchez, Manager of the Alcorcón Campus; and Enrique Otero, as a member of the 25th Anniversary Committee of the URJC.
