The registration period for the IV Edition of the program 'WomenCEO. Women for business leadership' a program devised by the URJC and the association of businesswomen and managers 'WomenCEO' that selects talented young people and trains them to be the future transformers of society.

As main novelties, this edition includes a self-diagnosis session of the personal profile and is open, for the first time, to the rest of the universities of the Community of Madrid.

Pilar Laguna, professor in the Department of Business Economics at URJC and coordinator of the program at URJC, indicates that "several scientific studies say that some of the main barriers that prevent women from reaching managerial positions are lack of training for leadership and lack of self-confidence. The students of the WomenCEO-URJC program manage to overcome these two barriers. Doing this course supposes a personal transformation. It allows them to become aware of gender inequality in the world of work, they are empowered and they are going to be helped to undertake their personal transformation to launch themselves into the professional world”.

The WomenCEO registration period takes place during the month of December, in January the selection process takes place, which has two phases, those who pass the first phase will go on to a personal interview with the team responsible for the program. There are a total of 25 seats. The profiles that are sought are those of women leaders who want to carry out a social transformation. It is a free initiative that the URJC can launch thanks to the sponsorship of Deloitte and Caixabank.

The sessions will begin on February 8 and will take place every Tuesday until shortly before Easter. Directors and businesswomen from companies such as Telefónica, Deloitte, or Cervezas 'La Virgen', among many others, will pass through them. By participating in the program, you automatically become part of the community of women leaders.
