With the beginning of the year comes a new edition of the 'Ingéniate' program, aimed at young people from Fuenlabrada who are interested in learning to program and use the latest digital tools, while advancing in logical-mathematical thinking for conflict resolution and problems.

After the 2021 edition was held online, 'Ingéniate' arrives this year in face-to-face format with two novelties. On the one hand, boys and girls in the third year of early childhood education are incorporated into the different training workshops. On the other, this edition offers preparatory courses for participants in the 2023 Computer Olympics.

The program, organized by the Fuenlabrada City Council in collaboration with the Rey Juan Carlos University, will hold its activities from February to June 2022 and more than 300 schoolchildren are expected to participate, from 3rd year of early childhood education to 4th year of ESO.

The courses are taught by specialists in different fields, including doctors and professors from the URJC and professionals in non-formal education who use a playful learning methodology. The workshops will be given in the Espacio Joven La Plaza, in the municipal center La Pollina, in the Fuenlabrada campus of the URJC and in the Nuevo-Versalles-Loranca-Parque Miraflores District Board.

In addition to the novelties that this edition presents, workshops on Cubetto, Scratch, 3D modeling for video games, True-True, Fun Maths and Mathematical Gymkhana are offered, the latter aimed at families.

The complete schedule of courses, as well as the online registration form, is available on the website of www.juventudfuenla.com.
