Through writing, the human being has always tried to make his words go further than what the voice reaches. Through ten informative panels, the HASTHGAR-URJC High Performance Research Group illustrates the wealth of historical graffiti generated in different war or military contexts throughout history.

This exhibition was born during the International Congress "The Army through historical graffiti: daily presence and role of the armed forces", held at the University in October 2020. The work financed between the Rey Juan Carlos University and the Ministry of Defense , also has the support of the Almansa City Council

The exhibition, presented by the professors of the Rey Juan Carlos Francisco Reyes University, Gonzalo Viñuales and Alberto Polo, took place on February 1 at the Documentary and Festive Center in the town of Albacete. There, the book "Historical Hispanic Graffiti II" was also presented, prepared thanks to a grant from the Faculty of Legal and Social Sciences of the Rey Juan Carlos University.

As we are informed by the URJC Scientific Culture and Innovation Unit, "the book is made up of a brief introduction and eleven chapters on historical graffiti, written by renowned specialists in this field of study, arranged according to chronological and geographical criteria. ”.

Admission to the exhibition is free and the exhibition can be visited until next Friday, February 18.
