The Rey Juan Carlos University continues to celebrate the 25th anniversary of its foundation and the RNE program 'Tarde lo que late' wanted to leave its studios to get closer and record a special live from the Fuenlabrada campus. The Assembly Hall will become this Tuesday, March 1, between 15:00 p.m. and 18:00 p.m., in an improvised studio through which top-level journalists and artists will pass.

The presenter Julia Varela will chat with the artists León Benavente, Nena Daconte and La La Love You, who will also perform some of their best-known songs live. In addition, the program will feature the participation of the journalist and writer, Agus Morales, and the president of Wikimedia Spain and professor at the URJC, Florencia Claes.

Claes, who collaborates every Monday in the program with a section on Wikipedia, says that the director, Julia Varela, proposed him to record a special from the URJC, taking advantage of its 25th anniversary.

“We think that making this special program is a good idea that also benefits both parties, both the radio station, which comes out of the studio and can get closer to the public, as well as the public and students, who can learn up close how a radio program is made”, explains the teacher.

On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the university, the program will also interview the vice-rector for University Extension, Mercedes del Hoyo. In addition, the Choir and Orchestra and the theater group of the URJC will be present. Admission to attend the recording of the special 'Tarde lo que late' at the Fuenlabrada campus is free until full capacity is reached.
