Science, technology, engineering and mathematics play an important role in education in developed and developing countries. That is why it is considered essential to provide society with a good STEM education so that professionals can share their skills and knowledge with the rest of the community.

The Research Group in STEM Education of the Rey Juan Carlos University (GIE-STEM) is aware of this, and for this reason it organizes the III Training Day in STEM Education for teachers and future teachers. The objective of this event will be to make teachers and students who are being trained in the field of education aware of the need to deepen both knowledge and teaching methodologies of this system in order to exercise their future profession correctly.

The sessions that will begin today, March 31, will take place from 16:00 p.m. to 20:00 p.m. A hybrid event in which those interested can attend both in person at the Fuenlabrada Campus, and telematically through the Microsoft Teams platform.

The correct training in STEM subjects of future teachers seems essential for the GIE-STEM, and it is in this way that the long-sought change in attitude of schoolchildren towards the subjects of this world will be achieved from the first educational stages.

Although the main recipients of the conference are students who are studying the Degrees in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education and the Master's Degree in Teacher Training for Secondary Education, Baccalaureate, Vocational Training in Languages, the organization believes that this theme is useful for any member of the University Community of the URJC.
