Intensive language courses for Erasmus+ students

Students admitted to the Erasmus+ program not only seek to live the experience of this scholarship, they also seek to learn a new language or improve the knowledge already obtained. If the scholarship holders do not travel with a good level of languages, the number of interactions with the locals will be reduced and this will mean that they have less contact with the culture of that country and learn less about it. 

The University Language Center (CUI) of the Rey Juan Carlos University is aware of this challenge, and for this reason each year it offers the University's students an intensive call between the months of May and June. English, German, French, Italian, and Spanish are the languages ​​chosen for this training, which has a course load of 20 hours. 

The training will begin on May 30 and end on June 30, with two exceptions: the Italian and German programs. Italian teaching will take place from May 4 to 27, and it will be aimed at preparing for the official CILS exam. On the other hand, in German language the chosen dates will be from June 6 to 10 with 4-hour classes.  

The language courses offered follow the guidelines of the "Common European Framework of Reference for Languages", so this training is not only designed to improve the linguistic competence of those enrolled, but also serves to prepare for exams. official languages ​​offered.  

Depending on the number of people interested, the teaching of these languages ​​will be taught in person or online (through the Microsoft Teams platform). On the other hand, the certificate obtained after passing the subject will be valid at the URJC to recognize 1 ECTS.
