The International Doctoral School celebrates its III International Congress

The meeting aims to be a common space for reflection between doctoral students from the Rey Juan Carlos University and other institutions. Among the guests, important scientific figures stand out, such as the cybersecurity expert, Chema Alonso.

The Móstoles campus of the Rey Juan Carlos University hosts the III Congress of the International Doctoral School on May 31. The aim of this meeting is to exchange experiences between doctoral students from different branches of knowledge, with the participation of professors and students, promoting debate and communication among all participants.

Another of the objectives of the meeting is to reflect on the current problems of doctoral students, as well as to disseminate the research activity to all doctoral students, members of the university community, businessmen and society. The purpose of the congress is for doctoral students to participate in a leading role, finding a place for common reflection guided by great scientific figures and professionals of recognized prestige.

Among these figures stands out the expert in cybersecurity and doctor from the URJC, Chema Alonso, member of the Executive Committee of Telefónica, who will offer a plenary conference on 'Technological disruption'. During the afternoon, various workshops will be held by professors and workers from different areas of the URJC, as well as presentations on the different branches of knowledge.

Presentation of communications

Doctoral students from any university can present a communication or poster related to the research topic of their doctoral thesis. Those interested have been able to send their different proposals to the Scientific Committee of the Congress, which will select up to a maximum of 12 presentations per branch of knowledge, for their face-to-face defense at the Congress.
