The URJC university community will choose this thursday three hundred representatives of the different sectors of the university community.

Said sectors are divided as follows: Sector A: 160 representatives elected by and among civil servant or contracted professors with permanent links to the University. Sector B: 45 representatives elected by and among the teaching and research staff who do not meet the requirements of Sector A. Sector C: 61 representatives elected by and among the students of Bachelor's, Master's, Doctorate, University for Seniors and Own Degrees. Of these representatives belonging to sector C, five will be Master's and Doctorate students and one from the University for Seniors and Own Degrees. In order to guarantee the minimum representation for each Faculty or School, there will be at least one representative of Undergraduate students from each centre. Sector D: 34 representatives elected by and among the Administration and Services Personnel. They are also members of the Senate, although they are not elected in these elections: the rector, the general secretary and the general manager

In the elections for the University Senate, the members of the University Community who, on the date the elections are called, provide their services or are enrolled in the University and are registered in the electoral roll, will be eligible voters.

For the purposes of the elections, sectors A, B and C will constitute an Electoral College in each of the Faculties and Schools of the University; and sector D, in each of its Campuses and in the Rectorate of the University.

Each voter may vote for a number of candidates no greater than three quarters of the total number of representatives to be elected. The maximum number of candidates that can be voted on must appear on the ballots. Once the Electoral Tables are constituted, voting will open at 9 am, continuing without interruption until 20 pm on the same day.

To exercise their vote, voters will identify themselves at the time of voting by presenting their National Identity Document (DNI), Passport, driver's license or Rey Juan Carlos University card. Any other document will not be accepted.
