The Rey Juan Carlos University has hosted the presentation of the results of the 2022 edition of the EvAU (university entrance exam) in the Community of Madrid.

From the figures offered, it can be deduced that 95 percent of the students who have taken the EvAU in the compulsory phase have passed the test.

The highest grade was a 10, obtained by a student from the San Juan Bautista Institute, located in the city of Madrid. His Baccalaureate mark was 9'94 and the CAU mark (weighting between the Baccalaureate mark and EvAU) is 9'64. These notes refer exclusively to the compulsory phase.

The data also indicates that 99 of the enrolled students have taken the tests.

By gender, 94,78 percent of men have passed the EvAU. The figure is similar among women, with 94.

As the URJC Vice-Rector for Students, Almudena López López, has pointed out, "we have had very good results, not only from an academic point of view, but also with an enrollment rate that reflects that the university is a benchmark and an option majority among our young people. And she added that "at an organizational level we can be proud of the EvAU we have carried out".

For his part, the general director of Universities and Artistic Education of the Community of Madrid, Ricardo Díaz, thanked the EvAU organizing committee for "all the work, also the evaluators and, of course, all the students, I hope that everyone achieve the career they want to pursue.

The vice-rector for Students of the Complutense University of Madrid and president of the Organizing Commission for the execution of the Entrance Exams to the University of the Community of Madrid, Rosa María de la Fuente, has pointed out that these results "show us that the Young people are prepared, they have worked and it is clear that the pandemic has reduced its impact on student work. This test is added to the work done in Baccalaureate so the whole process has been significant. We hope that they can study at the university they want.”
