The URJC is the best university in Madrid for Chemical Engineering and Ecology

Good news for the URJC in the Shanghai ranking. The University has been ranked as the best in Madrid in fields such as 'Ecology' and 'Chemical Engineering'. These good regional results mean that Rey Juan Carlos is also positioned among the 10 best in Spain in these two specialties. Regarding the world ranking, the branch of Ecology at URJC is among the 101-150 best universities in the world.

The University opens for the first time with the specialty 'Hotel and Leisure Management' achieving great results; ranking as the fifth best in Spain and among the 101-150 best in the world.

The URJC also maintains good positions in the international arena in 'Communication' (201-300) and 'Chemical Engineering' (201-300). The Rey Juan Carlos is positioned among the 500 best in the world in 'Biological Sciences' and 'Agricultural Sciences'.

According to the deputy vice-rector for Strategy, Diana Benito, “the results of the Shanghai ranking are, once again, very positive. As happened this year also in the QS ranking, we have managed to break new positions in a new specialty this year: "Hospitality & Tourism Management", a particularly complicated issue. We are talking about two of the most prestigious rankings worldwide. In addition, we made our debut in this specialty of “Hotel and Leisure Management” with resounding success, standing out among the 150 best universities in the world”. Benito indicates that “It is also reason for congratulations that our work in other specialties is recognized at the highest level. Thus, we are among the 151-200 best in the world in "Ecology", we remain among the 201-300 in "Communication" and "Chemical Engineering" and among the 401-500 best in "Biological Science" and "Agricultural Sciences". Once again it is cause for joy to know the results of these "examinations". It only remains to congratulate ourselves as a university community for these results.
