Between yesterday and today, a total of 627 students from Ukraine take their country's selectivity in the classrooms of the Madrid campus.
"Our university is the only Spanish university that organizes this test," says Pablo Salvadores, director of the Projects and International Relations area. The University collaborates in this event with the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, the Ministry of Universities, the Embassy of Ukraine in Spain and the Ukrainian educational authorities.
The exams, proposed from Ukraine, are carried out by computer in the computerized classrooms of the Madrid campus. For this, we have had the support and support of the ICT service of the URJC. 13 Ukrainian assistants have also been deployed to help the students, as many of them do not speak Spanish or English.
For Pablo Salvadores it is important “that the Ministry chooses you to organize an act of these characteristics. It means that we have the capacity and quality to take charge of something like this. The image of the URJC is reinforced in this sense by spearheading this action”.
The Rey Juan Carlos University is the university in Europe in which more Ukrainian students take their selectivity exams. Spain is the only country in which it has been decided to concentrate the entire test in a single university: The URJC.
