The URJC kicks off the I Week of Communication The URJC kicks off the I Week of Communication

The event will bring together various professionals from the communication sector throughout the week. Juan Luis Galiacho, professor at the URJC and director of The Digital Closure, will be in charge of opening the cycle of conferences.

This Monday, September 26, the Rey Juan Carlos University begins the I Week of Communication. The event, which will be held in the Fuenlabrada Campus auditorium, will offer several conferences by professionals from the communication area until Friday, September 30. 

The objective of these conferences, organized by the URJC professor Fernando Vilches, is to share professional experiences and resolve doubts and reflections that the public may have. Mainly, this event is aimed at the group of students of the Faculty of Communication Sciences of the URJC, although any other person who has an interest in this professional world can also attend.  

The first to inaugurate the cycle of conferences will be Juan Luis Galiacho, professor of radio at the URJC and director of The Digital Closure, with a talk entitled 'Information on society, between rigor and intrusiveness'. Alberto Hernando García-Cervigón, professor at the URJC, will be in charge of presenting this first guest. The conference will start at 16:00 p.m.

In this first edition of Communication Week, the URJC wants to offer an overview of the communication sector with professionals from the press, radio, television, agencies, dubbing, politics, trade unionism and the academic world . 

In addition to Galiacho, other experts who will be present during this event will be José Manuel Azcona, professor and professor of Contemporary History at the URJC; Ignacio Balboa, director at esRadio; José Manuel González-Huesa, from the world of the press and communication agencies and Mª Jesús Álava, from the voice over and dubbing area.
