The rector, Javier Ramos and the president of the OEI (Organization of Ibero-American States for Education, Science and Culture), Mariano Jabonero, have signed a 4-year agreement by which the Rey Juan Carlos University and the OEI agree to collaborate on joint activities. These actions include the exchange of Students and professors and the carrying out of research projects and conferences.

El 'II Educare-Educere Congress 2022' (November 16, 17 and 18 at different locations on the Fuenlabrada campus) is focused on two axes: internationalization and the promotion of scientific dissemination by teachers. Specifically, as explained by Almudena Santaella, coordinator of the master's degree in Teacher Training and president of the congress, the event wants to serve to delve into "the internationalization of training in line with the acting scenario, reorient teacher training towards international cooperation and promote the dissemination scientific”.

In addition, during the meeting the new Ibero-American Network for teacher training is presented. It is held on four legs, explains Almudena Santaella "the realization of an international congress, and the realization of university stays, publications and training sessions."

Experts in teacher training from 16 universities in countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Mexico or Spain participate in the congress.

Likewise, international projects of the URJC related to education will be exhibited and the first student training session for teachers will be held for the research training of future teachers. Among the works that are presented, many revolve around new methodologies, the use of ICT in education, STEM training and psychoeducation.
