From the Healthy University they offer a series of tips to face the exams in the best possible way. The first of them is planning study time. According to what they say, making realistic and concrete short- and medium-term plans throughout the course so as not to leave everything until the end is especially important. It is useful to dedicate the time in which the body feels more energy in more complex subjects and finish with the simpler ones.

To perform well, the brain needs to rest and repair itself. That's why it's important to maintain regular sleep schedules. In addition, sleeping helps to fix the contents studied during the day, on the contrary, it is not advisable to study at night if it takes away hours of sleep and rest.

Another very simple tip is to breathe. Anxiety is an excess of activation that keeps the body alert and it is important to identify this hyperactivation so as not to let it continue to rise. For this, it is useful to accept that certain levels of anxiety at exam time are normal and that the tools to manage it can be conscious, slow, paused breathing, having a hot fight, talking to someone or doing physical activity.

A very widespread habit is to study while the phone remains next to it. From the Healthy University they do not recommend this practice, since studying with the mobile forces the brain to attend to several sources at the same time and to handle distractions. Every time the phone is answered, it can take several minutes to regain concentration. Not by studying a lot, you will study more. The brain is an organ that consumes a lot of energy and needs to rest from time to time. It is important to be attentive to the signs that indicate that you need to rest, such as, for example, lack of concentration, drowsiness, headache...etc. It is useful to take short and effective breaks that really replenish our energy.

Another of the tips offered by the Healthy University is to have a healthy diet. In order for the brain to obtain the nutrients it needs, the consumption of nuts, fish, fruits or vegetables can be increased, leaving caffeine and stimulants aside.
