The general objective of the congress, according to one of its coordinators, Amaya Matesanz, is “to publicize the creative industries, not only as an economic or business sector but also within academia and the scientific field. That is why the congress has two clear aspects: teaching innovation and research”.

This meeting, therefore, aims to be a space for debate and communication between experts "to generate synergies between professionals, highlighting the fields of Arts and Humanities that involve various branches of Design, Fine Arts, Fashion, Literature, Architecture or Cinema", he points out. Cristina Garre, also from the scientific committee. In addition, she assures that "from the field of creative industries, new solutions are provided to different challenges that arise in society that can sometimes go unnoticed, but that represent an important contribution of value to scientific knowledge".

This first edition of the CINC will be held in a hybrid mode, with the aim of facilitating national and international participation. Synchronously, the event will be broadcast through the TEAMS platform and the sessions will be recorded so that they can be viewed later. The number of registered is 91 people and the Congress website It already accumulates more than 7300 visits.

For the organizing team, "the great reception that the event has had" has been very gratifying, says Matesanz. For her, “the congress is being possible thanks to the good relationship we have among the members, who complement and support each other so that the organization can move forward. Undoubtedly, the mere fact of holding this congress "is already a complete success".

During the congress there will be 21 presentations by professors, researchers and professionals from the creative industries from different institutions. In addition, the artist and professor Emílio Remelhe, from the University of Porto, will have the opportunity to share his work and tell his experience. The complete program can be consulted from the following link: I CINC Congress

With all the works exhibited, a book of abstracts will be published in digital format with its respective ISBN and it will be possible to send the full text. After passing the appropriate acceptance and review processes, the papers may be published as a book chapter in digital format by the Dykinson publishing house.

Finally, looking to the future, "we hope that the URJC Faculty of Arts and Humanities will continue to host this congress and we are confident that it can continue to grow and become a benchmark within the university and business spheres", points out Cristina Garre .
