On January 16, the UNITOUR University Orientation Hall is held in the Spanish capital, specifically at the Hotel Novotel Madrid Center.
This event aims to bring together the main universities of the city in one place to show ESO and Baccalaureate students the training offer that there is and offer guidance in any possible doubts.
This XVII edition of UNITOUR, which will visit 27 Spanish cities and four Italian ones, celebrates its passage through Madrid with the participation of the Rey Juan Carlos University, which will have a stand open to attendees throughout the day.
The event hours are from 09:30 a.m. to 14:00 p.m. for schools by appointment and from 16:00 p.m. to 19:00 p.m. for anyone who comes looking for information.
As Manuel Sánchez Acera, head of the URJC Information and University Guidance Service, Student Services, Alumni, Entrance Examinations, Diplomas, Scholarships and Grants, comments, "this is one more orientation activity where the academic offer is exposed , of qualifications, university life, cultural offer, professional opportunities... and the most important information or that most interests them is made available to attendees”.
According to Acera comments, on this occasion "four teachers will participate as academic advisors, from the faculties of Communication, Telecommunications and Experimental Sciences, but they will be able to resolve doubts from other areas of knowledge."
The fair is mainly aimed at high school students, but also at parents and educators interested in receiving personalized advice that guides students in a more accurate way about their choice. According to Sidewalk estimates, "the expected number of students is 500."
After passing through Madrid, UniTOUR will continue its route through cities such as Castellón, Valencia, Santander or Oviedo, among many others. All those attending the fair will enter the draw for 5 scholarships that will fully pay for the tuition at the chosen university for the winners.
