The Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Madrid and the Rey Juan Carlos University, through the Office of the Vice President for Teacher Training for Teaching Innovation, have met to discuss teacher training, and with the aim of establishing lines of collaboration between the two entities.
In the meeting, held on January 17 at the headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce, its president, Ángel Asensio Laguna, and the Vice Chancellor Antonio Julio López Galisteo, commented on the strategic lines of both entities in terms of university teacher training, as a way to improve teaching and, therefore, the best training of students. “Increasing the training of students entails a clear benefit to society as a whole, with students more prepared to face their professional future, and strengthening the business sector of the Community of Madrid” declares the vice-rector.
The Vice-Rectorate's mission is to train the URJC PDI through the University's Ongoing Training Plan, and the different training actions in terms of active teaching methodologies that it is developing. Within the framework of the general quality improvement strategy, it develops the Teacher Mentoring Program, as well as the evaluation of teachers through the DOCENTIA Program. Another of its strategic lines is to promote the incorporation of curricular structures of teaching innovation in the study plans of its degrees, following Royal Decree 822/2021.
Within the framework of the agreement between the Rey Juan Carlos University and the Madrid Chamber of Commerce, which has led to the successful development of the Master's Degree in Fashion Business Management, actions will be carried out leading to the best training of teachers in the development of your educational activity.
