The Móstoles campus will be, between the 7th and 9th of February, a must for any student who wants to find out about the latest professional opportunities in the field of computing. A total of 60 companies and institutions will present, through presentations or through 'stands', the different employment possibilities in different sectors.

For Daniel Palacios, ETSII Academic Promotion, Relations with Companies and Profession coordinator, this job fair is an opportunity for "students to make face-to-face contact with the company or sector that interests them."

In this 2023 edition, for which registrations are still open, each day is dedicated to a sector within the field of computing: consulting, product and videogames.

Each of the conferences will feature several presentations by the companies, each with a question and answer session in which the student body will be able to raise their doubts. In addition, two round tables will be held. One about the profiles sought for cybersecurity positions and another that will serve to show students the tools available at the URJC to take their first steps in the world of work.

Companies such as Accenture, King, CapGemini, Sanitas, AXA, Deloitte, or DeVuego, among many others, will attend the 'ETSII Job Days'. Also, institutions such as the Madrid City Council will publicize opportunities in the public sector to develop innovative projects.

“We have tried to cover as much as possible: banking, telecommunications, application development, consulting. In 3 days we offer you all the employment possibilities that exist in the sector”, says Palacios.

A special place for video games

The world and the electronic entertainment industry have a prominent space in this edition of the 'ETSII Job Days'. In addition to the presentations by various companies in the sector, agreements have been reached with developers from Madrid and Barcelona so that those who attend the fair can test the beta versions of their new games.

In addition, thanks to the ETSII Museum, you can see and try out consoles from years ago, such as the Playstation, Sega Megadrive, Nintendo NES or Xbox.

The 'ETSII Job Days' will be inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor for Research, Innovation and Transformation, Fernando García Muiña and by the director of the ETSII, Abraham Duarte.

The students who attend the presentations will see RAC credits recognized.
