This Thursday the 'Fantaterror Seminar' will be held on the Fuenlabrada campus, in which fantastic and terrifying Spanish cinema from the 60s and 70s will be analyzed and two films will be screened.

In a journey With a morning and afternoon session, the FlixOlé-URJC Chair of Spanish Cinema brings the 'Fantaterror' 'subgenre' closer to the university community.

To this end, the films 'Walpurgis Night' (León Klimovsky, 1971) and 'Do not profane the dream of the dead' (Jorge Grau, 1974), two productions that fit perfectly into this 'subgenre' of Spanish cinema, will be screened. which, as they point out in the chair "is the object of joy and enjoyment by the new generations".

In addition to the screening of the films, colloquia and round tables will be held with the participation of URJC teachers who are specialists in the field, film critics and the son of Paul Naschy, an icon of fantastic and horror cinema from the 60s and 70.

The objective of the seminar is to propose a day of practical work in which, in addition to watching the films and attending the colloquia, they collaborate in various activities that will come together in the publication of a monograph on the best 'Fantaterror' films.

Among the attendees, a one-year subscription code to FlixOlé will be given away (https://flixole.com) in addition to granting a certificate of participation to all students who attend the seminar. The session has an academic recognition of credits of 0'20 RAC.
