The Carlos III University, the University of Alcalá and the Rey Juan Carlos University collaborate in this program aimed at people residing in the Community of Madrid who are over 55 years of age and have completed the entire 'Universidad de Mayores' program, in any of the Madrid public universities. The main objective of the training is to ensure that the participating older people remain intellectually active and increase interpersonal and intergenerational relationships.

The rectors of the universities, along with the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, have attended the diploma award ceremony, among other personalities. Specifically, Javier Ramos, rector of the Rey Juan Carlos University, wanted to take the opportunity to congratulate the winners; “The fact of participating in this program favors your personal and social development. Wanting to learn again is already a lesson in itself, it is the reflection of a struggling, free and educated society, for which effort and enthusiasm rarely have limits”. "The new generations know how important it is to have references, and you, who receive the diplomas, are it" he ended by saying.

Finally, Javier Ramos has emphasized "continuing to promote education in all people, regardless of their age". "I end by saying to those of you who receive your diplomas today our respect and admiration, never stop honoring us with your presence in the classrooms, and allow us to continue learning from all of you."
