With this proposal, the URJC University Language Center (CUI), belonging to the Office of the Vice President for International Relations, aims to give the entire university community the opportunity to improve their language skills and immerse themselves in the culture of five European countries: Italy, France, United Kingdom, Spain and Russia.

"We want to contribute to the improvement in language management to facilitate internationalization," says the director of the CUI, Ángeles Cano.

The activities are open to anyone from the university community, you just need to register. URJC students who attend all sessions of an activity will obtain 0 RAC credits.

The first activity to start has been the cineforum in italian language, which has already held its first session, according to its organizers, "the chosen films talk about current and characteristic themes of Italian society, these being the mafia, today's young people and their difficulty in entering the world of work, the differences between north and south and the topics that accompany them. Despite the fact that the themes to be analyzed are serious, three films have been chosen that present an analysis from humor. These are therefore three comedies that were enormously successful at the box office and that, despite delving into some delicate issues, they do so in a fun, but always respectful way”.

It has also started its journey on english book club, the first work to be read and analyzed is 'Mrs. Bixby and the Colonel's Coat, written by Roald Dahl.

Later they will start club in spanish, Russian, as well as the cineforum in french, which will close the activities.
