'EDUSCAPE' is an international plan focused on the landscape whose main objective is to address social challenges in today's world. For example, climate change, biodiversity loss, social inclusion, cultural heritage and identity in the education of children and young people.

'EDUSCAPE', led by the degree in Landscaping at the university, aims to develop educational materials for children between 6 and 15 years of age and their teachers. In this sense, the landscape not only means the physical environment, but it is interpreted as a platform, a medium, a source of information, inspiration and also affection that can be used to advantage in the educational process.

"Aware of the global environmental challenges and the essential role of education, we decided to address both issues through the theme of landscape" comment from EDUSCAPE. “We use this term as an integrating concept that is related to a wide range of challenges in contemporary society. We use it as a means to bring together and integrate different subject areas within the school curriculum in a stimulating and satisfying way”

This project also has a digitalform payment that allows educational materials to be shared by teachers and educational centers, and by children and their parents. The interactive nature of the website allows users to participate in various virtual activities, such as taking a short quiz to obtain important information about the knowledge acquired or a video record of multiplier events and training seminars, so that future users of the platform have access to additional results.

According to Cristina del Pozo, coordinator of the degree in Landscaping, this project uses a specific methodology to analyze the environment in depth. “After analyzing the European educational programs, we have tried to improve the contents so that primary and secondary students learn about the environment and adaptation to climate change. It is an innovative way of learning, since we implement a new way of acquiring knowledge, through project-based learning” says the coordinator.
