This coalition aims to promote synergies and relationships between the different members of the association, with the intention of improving and strengthening teaching, research and knowledge transfer.

This launch meeting, organized by Leibniz University Hannover (LUH), a member of the consortium, is attended by representatives of the Alliance's President Board, made up of the rectors or presidents of the member universities. The Spanish delegation is headed by the rector of the URJC, Javier Ramos, and the director of the Internationalization Area, Pablo T. Salvadores Alonso.

As a representative of Spanish universities, the URJC published a video in which Javier Ramos expressed the importance of this alliance for future generations, “EULIST's mission is to bring together the knowledge of our 10 universities to educate the next generations of students.” Also present in the video was Professor Volker Epping, president of Leibniz University Hannover (LHU).

EULIST, 'European Universities Linking Society and Technology', was born in 2020 within the framework of the 'European Universities' initiative, launched by the European Commission, with the aim of modernizing higher education in Europe in a global and lasting way.
