The short film in which the URJC 'Alumni', Adrián Morata, has participated, is on the 'prelist' of candidates for the awards given by the Film Academy. The selection process will end the last week of November, announcing the 'Goya' nominees.

Anticlimax is the story of a marriage that has settled into routine and has lost its passion. Both members of the couple, Jaime and Rocío, have a dream in which they both appear in each other's vision, altering it for better and worse.

The cast is made up of actresses and actors such as Belén López, protagonist of series such as “Arde Madrid”, “White Lines” or “Charon.” The winner of a Goya award for the film “Tarde Para la Ira”, Manolo Solo, will also participate in the filming, as well as the actress Alicia Armenteros and the actor Jorge Clemente.

The short film is directed by Néstor López and Óscar Romero, who affirm that the story is born from the roller coaster of emotions that involves leaving a person with whom you have shared many years of your life. In addition, they report that the objective of the work is awaken emotions in the viewer, “we want to remind them that we must keep in mind what surrounds us every day and feel the need to value what we have”

Among the producers is Adrián Morata, a graduate of Audiovisual Communication from the URJC, who states that: “we are going for everything, to win, although this year the competition is much higher.”

Tomorrow, at 13:45 p.m., Antíclimax will have an exclusive pass for academics organized by the Spanish Film Academy.
