With this contract, the URJC accesses a set of pedagogical and consultation tools on research, which will be provided by the HBP.
Harvard Business Publishing (HBP) is an academic and research entity that owns around 50.000 educational and business materials worldwide.
In this way, the University, through the FCEE, aims to consolidate itself as an institution committed to excellence and the training of business leaders, as well as the execution of scientific publications and practical applications of research and teaching.
Miguel Cuerdo, dean of the FCEE, expresses the relevance of the agreement: "the choice of a database for a prestigious educational institution like the FCEE within the URJC is not a simple task since this decision determines the quality and relevance of the resources to which both teachers and researchers as well as students will have access". Cuerdo also adds that: "it will mean an improvement in the quality of the education provided and the promotion of research results."
Along these same lines, the vice dean of Research, International Relations and Business Relations of the FCEE, José Ramón Saura states that, “compared to other similar databases, HBP offers an unmatched value proposition in terms of quality, relevance and diversity.” ”.
The contract signing ceremony was attended by the Vice-Rector for Research, Innovation and Transfer, Fernando García Muiña, representing the Rector of the URJC, Javier Ramos.
