The Rey Juan Carlos University reaffirms its position in the global academic panorama by standing out for another year in the prestigious THE-Young ranking, in which it has maintained a constant presence since 2017

In the report recently published by THE ranking, the URJC has demonstrated significant progress in the quality of research, registering a notable increase of 7.8 points in citations, as well as improvements in the indicators of 'International Perspective', 'Research Environment ' and 'Teaching'. Despite these achievements, the university still has room for improvement in the 'Industry Income' indicator and in aspects related to the proportion of international students.

In the context of the Community of Madrid, the Rey Juan Carlos University stands out as the largest young institution (under 50 years of age) in terms of enrolled students and is positioned as the second best in research quality.

According to Diana Benito, Deputy Vice-Rector for Strategy, “these recognitions underline, once again, the continuous commitment of our university to teaching, research and innovation. The objective data continue to consolidate us as a leading and young institution at a regional, national and international level.”

Furthermore, the URJC appears in the recent Research.com ranking, positioned among the 40 best Spanish universities and in 1060th place worldwide. Considering the different areas of the ranking, the URJC stands out in 'Ecology and Evolution', positioning itself as 5th nationally and 284th worldwide, and in the areas 'Computer Science' and 'Mathematics', where it occupies 15th position nationally in both. .

A decade of presence in the CWUR ranking

The Rey Juan Carlos University appears again in the CWUR ranking. This is the tenth consecutive presence of the URJC in this classification. In this year's edition, the institution's score continues above the average of the total number of participants worldwide.
