Next Tuesday, June 18, the URJC students will be able to vote to elect their representatives in the cloister.

The sector formed by the students is made up of: 61 representatives chosen by and among the students of the Degree, Master, Doctorate, University of Majors and Own Degrees.

Of these representatives, five will be Master's and Doctorate students and one from the University of Majors and Own Degrees. To guarantee minimum representation for each Faculty or School, there will be at least one representative of Undergraduate students for each center.

Students who are enrolled at the University on the date of the call for elections in Degree, Master's, Doctorate, University of Majors and Own Degrees and are registered on the electoral roll will be voters and eligible.

Each voter may vote for a number of candidates no greater than three quarters of the total number of representatives to be elected. The maximum number of candidates that can be voted on must appear on the ballots. Once the Electoral Tables are constituted, voting will open at 9 am, continuing without interruption until 19 pm on the same day.

To exercise their vote, voters will identify themselves at the time of voting by presenting their National Identity Document (DNI), Passport, driver's license or Rey Juan Carlos University card. Any other document will not be accepted.

The university faculty is responsible for supervising and controlling the management of the university, as well as defining the general lines of action in the different areas of university life.
