This initiative aims to support students who are in an unfavorable economic situation or in a situation of family or personal vulnerability, providing them with financing for psychological care at the URJC University Clinical Foundation (FCURJC).
In a context in which mental health is a topic of growing concern, the importance of mental health today is evident, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic and the war conflict in Ukraine. Events that have significantly increased mental health problems in students, which can lead to dropping out of studies or negatively affecting their academic performance.
These grants allocate a budget of €100.000 to cover the psychological care expenses of up to 30 psychological therapy sessions at the University Clinic. Aid will be prioritized to those students who are in an unfavorable economic, family or personal situation. The funding will be used to fully or partially cover psychological treatment for those students who need help to begin, continue or finish their degree, official master's or Doctorate studies.
The deadline for submitting applications is from today, June 14, 2024, until July 4 (inclusive).
