The URJC joins the celebration of LGTBIQA+ Pride

This year, the URJC has launched a special campaign titled "eqUality, diveRsity, social Justice, interseCtionality", led by the Diversity Unit and the Equality Unit. The initiative aims to highlight and celebrate the richness of a diverse and committed university community. With this campaign, the URJC reaffirms its pride and support for all the people who are part of its Community.

In a significant step towards leadership in the promotion of diversity, the URJC, as co-coordinator of the Network of Universities for Diversity (RUD), will participate for the first time in the State Pride on July 6 under the motto " University Pride: Universities for Diversity".

The director of the Diversity Unit, Professor Miguel Ángel López, has expressed his enthusiasm for these initiatives, highlighting that “visibility and support for the LGTBIQA+ community are fundamental to building a more fair and inclusive society. Our University is proud to be a space that works for the dignity of everyone.”

With these actions, the URJC not only celebrates Pride Day, but also reaffirms its continued commitment to equal rights and promoting an inclusive environment.
