The URJC has stood out in certain aspects: it rises 304 places in the 'RUR-International Diversity', and 173 in the 'RUR-Research'. Likewise, it improves 105 positions in the 'RUR-Teaching' and climbs 92 in the 'RUR-Financial Sustainability'.
“Although the indicators that have the most weight in the final evaluation are the RUR-Teaching and the RUR-Research', they are all encouraging results and, at the very least, notable. We should feel very proud of our University,” says Diana Benito, Deputy Vice-Rector for Strategy.
The RUR-WUR is an international ranking that evaluates universities in multiple dimensions, including teaching, research, international diversity and financial sustainability, providing a comprehensive view of higher education institutions globally.
With these results, the Rey Juan Carlos University continues its path of growth in the various international rankings, an improvement that is due to various reasons, as Diana Benito explains, “the improvement in this ranking, as in many others, is the result of the measures that have been implemented over the years in many areas of our university. To name a few, I would highlight the greater incentives for research, where the URJC has grown in high-quality publications or the fact that we have strengthened our ties with international academic institutions. Also influential is the fact that we have improved our academic programs, have incorporated innovative methodologies and sustainability in a broad sense in all university areas, as well as having managed to adapt to the changing needs of students and society. It is everyone's job to continue with our commitment to academic quality to continue consolidating ourselves as a leading university in the world."
These measures have made it possible to improve the URJC in this global ranking, which results in increased online and international visibility, key to continuing to attract the attention of future students, researchers and collaborators.
